Avarni recognised as SOC 2 compliant

SYDNEY, Australia: 20 December 2023 — Avarni reached a major company milestone in December following the completion of its Service Organisational Control Type 1 (SOC 2), the cybersecurity compliance framework developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). 

To remain compliant with SOC 2 specifications, companies must be audited by an independent certified public accountant who works with them on an assessment to determine whether the company and its security mechanisms meet the appropriate security standards established by the AICPA. AssuranceLab, a prominent Certified Public Practice accounting firm specialising in information security audits under SOC standards, successfully conducted Avarni's audit and is the foremost provider of SOC 2 reports in the ANZ region.
